「Designer Aero Sets This S2000 Apart from the Rest」Sleek Italian Grey in Wide Form Creates a Striking Contrast!

Dynamism and Superiority in a Sporty Package
The owner of this S2000 enjoys lapping Tsukuba Circuit and Fuji Speedway. Under the premise of being able to travel self-propelled to and from the circuit, his beloved AP1 has been finely tuned with an emphasis on footwork over power.
As a means of pursuing further performance and cornering ability for his S2000, he sought a widebody kit. At that time, he became aquainted with Tamon Design representative Mr. Shoji and immediately visited their workshop. From here the “MS-S2KR” was born, with the mission to integrate sports styling with full function circuit capability.
At the front, the S2000’s distinctive long nose is extended a further 50mm and a 3D under sweep is installed. Sporty looking curved surfaces were refined through research in pursuit of aerodynamics.
The widebody increases width by 30mm each side at the front and 40mm each side at the rear. Tamon Design creates a sense of sharpness here complementing body lines, not just any normal overfender. Wheels are Volk Racing CE28N in 9.5J +40 at the front and 9.5J +22 at the rear. Tires are 255/40-17 Advan Neova AD08.
This machine is set up to make optimal use of this particular aero kit. Case in point the suspension, which is an Aragosta harmonic kit that can finely adjust damping force and spring rate (Rana Springs: F18kg/mm, R16kg/mm). This is called Aragosta’s Wide Body SPL. LSD is ATS Carbon with a final gear of 4.3.
The rear bumper overhang is shortened with the goal of creating a balance in the total form. Rear diffuser is equipped with a vented air duct which is both visually stunning and aerodynamically functional.
The GT wing is mounted at the edge of the trunk lid. High performance aero parts powerhouse Vortex had specialist Mr. Nakajima himself nail down settings to maximize effect in terms of function and style.
Under the hood, tuning is kept simple with a light menu of intake, exhaust and ECU tuning to make the most of the F20C’s abilities. In particular, Amuse’s high-tech ROM has greatly improved acceleration and response.
Above all, this function is backed up a sense of elegance giving the owner the best of both worlds. Here, Lamborghini Murcielago’s original color “Italian Grey” was selected to accentuate the kits aggressive form and elevate it into the visual caliber of European super sports cars.
