Students’ custom cars were set for display at Tokyo Auto Salon – Tokyo Automobile University School Edition [NEW]

Thanks to COVID-19, Tokyo Auto Salon 2021 has vanished, as if it were a mirage all along. In response, the V-OPT news crew are undertaking a special project with Mana-P (Manabu Suzuki) to check out all the unusual cars that should have appeared! The target for our glorious first episode is: Tokyo Automobile University School.

Of the many works on display, the car that surprised Mana-P the most was a Vitz. The students joined the front halves of two Mark 1 Vitzes together to make this car, but there’s a twist. Not just one but both of the hoods cover an engine. That’s right, this thing is a twin-motor beast! Apparently the car can drive in either direction, but Mana-P gradually loses his mind trying to figure out how to control it.
